I have undertaken training and have experience in a range of therapeutic approaches to help people experiencing eating disorders and related difficulties, such as body image concerns. This includes both individual therapies (such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and, for young people, Maudsley family-based treatment to help families support their child/adolescent. The approach selected for individual clients is based on the best available research evidence, client preferences, and clinical judgement.
