Dr Salena Bhanji

I qualified with a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the UK. My training has been in a wide range of therapeutic approaches that I tend to use integratively based on client presentations, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Schema based CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, Brief Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Group-based Family Therapy. I tend to work predominantly with adults and older adolescents as well as with carers of those with an eating disorder. A significant area of interest and professional practice is in Mindful Eating approaches for Binge Eating and Bulimia.
