I have more than 25 years experience providing treatment and support services for people with eating disorders and their families and carers. I had a practice in Brisbane for many years and worked closely with the Qld Eating Disorders Association, the Eating Issues Service (formerly ISIS) and the Eating Disorder Outreach Service. My treatment experience ranges across the spectrum of eating disorders using evidence-based interventions including CBT-E, Family Based Treatment for Anorexia, Specialist Supportive Clinical Management and Interpersonal Therapy. In my work I use a collaborative, shared decision-making approach throughout all phases of treatment, to establish a client's needs and the optimal choice of treatment.
