Judith Leahy

The Eating Disorder Coordinator in your local health district provides clinical consultation and support to health professionals and teams treating people with eating disorders. This service is only available for health professionals. Judith Leahy is the local eating disorder coordinator for the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD). Judith is a Dietitian with expertise in managing innovative projects in health promotion, public health and community nutrition. Judith has worked in the areas of body image, healthy weight, eating disorders and eating disorder service development since 1996 at National, State and local levels. Judith has a passion for improving equity of access to treatment, in 2003 establishing an Early Intervention Service, and in 2008 a Day Program, which now comprise the Eating Disorders Outpatient Service for CCLHD.
