The Eating Disorder Coordinator in your local health district provides clinical consultation and support to health professionals and teams treating people with eating disorders. This service is only available for health professionals. Monique Perkins is the local eating disorder coordinator for the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD). Monique provides clinical consultation and support to teams treating people with eating disorders. Monique is also responsible for providing clinical supervision, resources and appropriate training services to health professionals within the Southern NSW LHD, specific to eating disorders. Monique’s background profession is in Dietetics, formally working at The Canberra Hospital for 3 years as a clinical dietitian before moving to NSW Health in 2014. Monique continued to work in clinical dietetics until commencing the Eating Disorders Coordinator role in January 2018. Monique continues to work in the dietetics field alongside her coordinator role, by running her own private dietitian practice.
